Poly(dimethylamine-co-epichlorohydrin), CAS No.: 25988-97-0, is a water-soluble cationic polymer with high cationic charge density and low molecular weight. It is mainly used in water treatment. ‌

Chemical properties
The polymer is generated by polymerization of dimethylamine and epichlorohydrin. It is a strong electrolyte, non-toxic and highly stable, resistant to acid, alkali, high temperature and high shear. Its molecular weight is usually between 10000-200 00, and the active chlorine content can reach 49%-52%. ‌

Application areas
‌Water treatment‌: It is used to treat low turbidity river water, tap water and other water sources. It can effectively remove suspended matter and organic pollutants (such as proteins and fine fibers) through coagulation and destabilization. It is especially suitable for complex wastewater treatment. ‌
‌Industrial use‌: It can be used as a cationic resin intermediate and applied in medicine, pesticides and fine chemicals. ‌
