Pentacene CAS 135-48-8

Pentacene is a dark blue to black crystalline solid, insoluble in common solvents. As an organic semiconductor material, widely used in flexible electronics (e.g. field effect transistors, photovoltaic devices) and photovoltaic research, its high hole mobility (~1.5 cm²/V-s) and molecular stacking characteristics are outstanding. It should be stored in an inert atmosphere protected from light to avoid oxidative degradation.
