Di(2-propylheptyl)phthalate (DPHP for short) is a phthalate plasticizer with the molecular formula C₂₈H₄₆O₄ and CAS number 53306-54-0. ‌

Physical properties
It is a colorless or light yellow viscous oily liquid, insoluble in water, and easily soluble in organic solvents. The relative density is 0.964 g/cm³ and the boiling point is about 425.8°C. ‌

Main uses
As a plasticizer, it is widely used in polyvinyl chloride (PVC) products, such as wires and cables, automotive interior materials, waterproof tarpaulins, artificial leather, etc. It has good environmental performance and meets the requirements of industrial standard HG/T 4889-2016
