Sodium polyphosphate 68915-31-1

Sodium hexametaphosphate is used as a soft water agent in dyeing or post-treatment, which can extract calcium ions and magnesium ions from insoluble calcium soap, magnesium soap, or calcium and magnesium dye precipitates that have already been generated, and dissolve the precipitates again. In other words, introducing sodium hexametaphosphate into the solution can regenerate sodium soap, and even when formed calcium soap or magnesium soap, the clumps of calcium soap or magnesium soap will disappear. Similarly, sodium hexametaphosphate can regenerate dyes.
