Sodium Ferric EDDHA/EDDHA-FeNa/FE-EDDHA CAS 16455-61-1

Sodium Ferric EDDHA (EDDHA stands for Ethylenediamine-N,N'-bis(2-hydroxyphenylacetic acid)) is a stable chelated iron complex in the form of a dark red‑brown to almost black crystalline powder or granules. Highly soluble in water, it provides iron in a readily available form that remains stable across a wide pH range (typically from 4 to 9). Commonly used in agriculture and horticulture to correct iron deficiency in plants, especially in calcareous or alkaline soils. It also finds limited application in industrial water treatment and as a colorant in certain products. Odorless or with a very faint characteristic smell.
