Polyisobutylene (PIB) is a colourless, odourless, non-toxic ladybird thick or semi-solid substance with good resistance to chemicals such as heat, oxygen, ozone, weather, UV, acids and alkalis.Polyisobutylene is a colourless, odourless, non-toxic isobutylene homopolymer.The molecular weight of polyisobutylene varies in a wide range due to different preparation methods and process conditions.The molecular weight of the majority of the products reaches 10,000 ~ 200,000 or more, and will be transformed from a thick liquid to a semi-solid, and then transitioned to a rubbery elastomer.Polyisobutylene is resistant to acid, alkali, salt, water, ozone and aging, and has excellent airtightness and electrical insulation.
