Ethylene glycol distearate is an important additive in the cosmetics industry, which can be used as a pearlescent agent, conditioner, and thickener in washing products such as shampoo and shower gel. It is synthesized by the esterification of ethylene glycol and stearic acid ester. The traditional synthesis process has a high reaction temperature, generally between (150-210 ° C). In order to remove the water generated by the reaction, measures such as nitrogen injection, depressurization, or azeotropic dehydration need to be taken. Due to the high reaction temperature, the product undergoes severe carbonization and has a deep color, requiring additional decolorization processes. A study has used p-toluenesulfonic acid and phosphorous acid (molar ratio 1:1) as composite catalysts (hereinafter referred to as composite catalysts) for esterification reactions, and conducted experimental research on three factors: catalyst dosage, reaction temperature, and reaction time. A new process for synthesizing ethylene glycol distearate has been proposed.
Full-Process Quality Control: From incoming raw material inspection to in-process monitoring and final outgoing checks, every batch is inspected at each production stage against strict acceptance standards.
Third-Party Certified & Tested: Our quality management system is certified to ISO 9001, and products are regularly tested by accredited laboratories (e.g. SGS, TÜV). Test reports are available on request.
100% Batch Traceability: Each batch carries a unique lot number that links raw material records, production parameters, and test results, enabling complete traceability from factory to final delivery.
Pre-Shipment Inspection: Every order passes a final pre-shipment inspection, with inspection photos and reports shared before dispatch.
