Cupric Stearate is a light blue to blue-green powder, insoluble in water but soluble in grease or organic solvents.It is mainly used as heat stabilizer for PVC plastics, wood preservative and mould inhibitor for paints, with both lubricating and colouring functions.Its weak antimicrobial properties are suitable for the protection of some industrial materials, but it is necessary to avoid inhalation of dust, and has a certain degree of toxicity to aquatic organisms.
