Citronella Oil is a light yellow to brownish yellow transparent liquid with a strong lemongrass aroma.It is mainly extracted by distillation from lemongrass (Cymbopogon spp.) and is widely used in mosquito repellents, soaps, detergents and the flavour industry, with natural antibacterial and air freshening properties.It should be stored in a sealed container away from light to avoid the deterioration of the odour caused by high temperature oxidation.
