Tetramethoxymethyl glycoluril is a curing agent, which is produced by etherification of excess methanol with tetrahydroxymethyl glycoluril under acidic conditions, and distilled in the range of ra = 5-7 to separate volatile substances, and further hydroxymethylated and etherified to obtain tetramethoxymethyl glycoluril.
